Company director and board member from inception of a new wealth and financial advice business formed by Ipsum Advisors Pty Ltd in conjunction with a joint venture (JV) partner, Partners Wealth Group. Ipsum Wealth Pty Ltd grew into a thriving and profitable business. I was involved intimately with establishment of the business and the key phases of its life cycle to maturity including strategy development, branding, client opportunities and retention, talent (resource) acquisition, ongoing relationship development with all key stakeholders including our JV partner and wider professional network, cross stream referral business strategies and revenue seeking opportunities.

I was a director and equity partner of Ipsum Advisors Pty Ltd (IAPL) and Ipsum Wealth Pty Ltd (IWPL). IAPL is a boutique tax/advisory business with a team of 25+ employees and servicing a variety of clients and industries predominantly in Victoria but also further afield in Queensland and New Zealand. Within my role at Bank of Ireland Global Markets (BOIGM) I was responsible for the financial accounting and reporting of the government and corporate bonds held (asset), including:- Working closely with all interdepartmental departments within BOIGM at the transactional level to ensure all necessary recognition and recording of transactions (buy/sell side) within a multitude of general ledgers was completed on time and with a very high degree of accuracy including adherence to the international financial reporting standards (IFRS), net present value techniques and also foreign exchange movements. - Collaborating with the bond trading desk team prior to transactions for bond acquisitions being undertaken for purposes of pre-emptive financial recognition within the financial reporting system. - Attend to the end of month/quarter and end of year statutory reporting in relation to the bonds held and assistance with the key finance manager pertaining to the drafting of the notes to the financial accounts. - Adaptation and focus of timely, accurate and succinct reporting to meet the key needs of the users of the financial reports, both periodical and end of year statutory reporting.
