Led a diverse range of recreational programs, including aquatic centers, recreational facilities, parks, and sports programs. I motivated and led a team of up to 18 FTE and160 part-time staff members, creating a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.I developed partnerships with public, private, and non-profit organizations, fostering collaboration to develop and maintain programs and services meeting the needs of stakeholders, while championing diversity, inclusion, equity, and accessibility. I also provided comprehensive training to undergraduate staff, as well as supporting the design and bid for a new challenge course. As a graduate assistant, I was afforded the opportunity to provide input into the planning and development of an $85MM renovation and expansion of the Recreation Center.Through my efforts, the program delivery and inventory management of the challenge course, climbing wall, and rental equipment improved, resulting in better availability and reduced maintenance costs. Additionally, my expertise and training led to a skilled and motivated team, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all users.
