This involved creating a multi region solution to ensure customers data regulations are adhered to. Implementation of process automation through the use of Powershell further allowed for scalability and repeatability of infrastructureWorking closely with Infosec professionals, these infrastructure changes played a key role in ensuring ISO27001 compliance within the company. This involved playing a crucial role in their ISO27001 journey as well as all audits which were conducted.

Blueprint Capital Ltd. is a leading proprietary trading company which specialises in Algo & FX trading as well as offering consultancy.During my time at Blueprint Capital i worked with a team of FX traders to review and analyse the technical and fundamental reasons behind the G7 Currency pairs. In addition to carrying out this analysis i managed a fund to trade in the primarily in the G-7 currency pairs (USD-JPY, USD-CHF, EUR- USD, AUD-USD, and USD-CAD & GBP-USD).Analysis of the technical reasons behind FX fluctuations gave a unique insight into how data analysis can be used to notice trends within the currency pairs. This analysis included • Analysis of Commodity and Equity trends to give a bigger picture of the global economy • Back testing historical data • Implementing different trading strategies to determine their viability.Despite using a number of analysis techniques to determine market direction, a key skill was managing risk reward to ensure profit was maximised and losses were minimised.

The International Summer School at the University of Sussex attracts students from over 30 countries, including a vast majority from the USA. The 8 week course provides students a way to obtain credit towards the degree studied in their home country. The physics department itself attracts nearly 300 students which take part in a high intensity course consisting of lectures, labs and workshops.While working in this role I oversaw 8 different students per day as they carried out an experiment. This involved interacting with the students in order to explain difficult concepts which they had not yet encountered. I was responsible for helping them gain a greater knowledge in data analysis techniques on Microsoft Excel that were a key part of the course. After every experiment I was also in charge of marking their books and returning them by a deadline.This job provided me with training and experience in a teaching role, improved communication skills, greater understanding of Microsoft Excel and time management skills which enabled this intensive course to run smoothly.
