Most of my professional career has been in the Canadian federal public service supporting Members of Parliament fulfill their democratically elected duties and responsibilities. I have worked more than a decade in Ottawa, including over 8 years on Parliament Hill across four different parliaments: the 41st, 42nd, 43rd, and 44th.This strong experience has exposed me to a number of political contexts and office settings. I have worked both federally and provincially in Ontario; in majority and minority landscapes; and in government and opposition. I have also worked in Ministerial Offices, Hill Offices, and Constituency Offices, and I have managed multiple federal election campaigns on a riding level.Overall, this experience has given me a sound understanding of the machinery of government, it's operations, cycles, regional differences, and dynamics, as well as responsibilities managing campaigns, communications, legislation and parliamentary affairs, stakeholder relations, research, and public policy. In terms of federal portfolios, I have experience in and knowledge of environment, natural resources, sport, justice, public services and procurement, manufacturing and export promotion, international trade, science and research, transportation, and tourism.In late 2018, I began my entrepreneurial journey when I started creating a fun, new, and authentic tabletop game called 'Hockey Hardware: The Original Game'.
