Billy is currently a senior supply chain analyst supporting engineering projects that improve the safety, compliance, and reliability of United's fleet of over 900 aircraft. His project portfolio spans over 100-active projects ranging from interior modifications to aircraft structural inspections, ensuring inventory availability and material accuracy through material forecasting and supplier management.In addition to his day-to-day as a supply chain analyst, Billy also performs various business analytics and data analyst functions to improve efficiencies within Tech Ops Supply Chain. With a proven track record of supporting department requests, Billy is often leveraged as a business analyst resource for supply chain executive leadership.Billy is also a corporate photographer for United and supports internal marketing initiatives for Tech Ops.Formally a Boeing 737 heavy maintenance planner at United, Billy oversaw scheduled, heavy maintenance events across the country ranging from heavy checks and structural inspections, to paint and post-delivery mod visits at various internal and external maintenance facilities across the country. To date, Billy coordinated over 250 maintenance visits ranging from 11 to 80+ days.Prior to joining United full-time, Billy interned with United in systems engineering in San Francisco and worked on flight control systems for wide-body aircraft. He reviewed Boeing service bulletins, maintenance documents, and Federal Aviation Administration Airworthiness Directives to create and modify United engineering documents to ensure compliance, safety, and reliability.Billy graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Daytona Beach campus in December 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, and during the course of his academic tenure, held various on-campus jobs, advocated for the student body as a member of the Student Government Association (SGA), oversaw all hospitality functions of the student-ran programming board, and immersed himself in the various disciplines of Aerospace Engineering.
