I am currently the Web Content Specialist/Designer for Denton County, Texas.Before working as the Digital Marketing Manager for the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau from July 2018 to Nov. 2021, I created the national weather Web site WXnation.com (Feb. 2002 - Nov. 2016), which received between 500,000 and 1 million unique users per year and reached more than 200 countries. During this time, established several Top 10 Google search engine rankings via SEO, XML sitemaps, and valid XHTML. I maintained a WordPress blog (2003-2015) and worked with WeatherBug, The Weather Channel, and Custom Weather sales teams.In March 2017, I created the My Night Walk YouTube channel, primarily for an audience in Toronto, Ont., Canada. The official channel for the 1980s Night Walk TV series now has more than 2,000 subscribers and 135,000 views (not counting the 24/7 live stream).I've gained more than 10 years of news writing, editorial and video editing experience as News and Sr. News Editor for Internet Broadcasting at KXAS-TV, Fort Worth, and Webmaster at WDIV-TV, Detroit.
