This work focuses on learning about and ordering new devices for development/test coverage, managing direct lab staff, assisting in satellite lab management, and improving the lab services for users. This has grown to include project managing the design and upkeep of an internal categorization and inventory logging tool.The main focus of my work is sourcing and supplying hardware for much of the WE teams. I'm heavily involved with Copilot, Windows Search Box, Cortana, Bing, Edge, Office, Outlook, Teams, Skype, and other teams within the larger org.Day to day includes maintaining a budget that needs to be carefully scrutinized and trimmed. I have to maintain balance and priority between the needs of multiple teams working on differing projects competing for resources. I came back after the contractual break and found myself running the Device Lab for Bing Mobile and organizing the testpass information. This includes checking devices in and out, maintaining our equipment, and troubleshooting devices issues. It also requires me to have constant contact with test pass owners, IT for troubleshooting my teams issues, and anyone who wants to use the test team resources or devices.

Started off working on mBing.com as a software tester running test passes on a multitude of devices. I was put in the Device Lab and gradually took over the responsibility of running the lab. This includes checking devices in and out, maintaining our equipment, and troubleshooting devices issues.

Vendor through Xtreme to Microsoft. Worked as a software tester on Pinpoint.Designed, wrote, and ran test cases across multiple browser and os configurations for the Pinpoint website.

Working through Aerotek Professional Services I was a contractor for Nintendo of America. Software testing on Nintendo Wii and DS hardware.
