The biggest was during his first year at the company, moving all our email customers from our own mail servers to a reseller. At the time, email was one of our biggest problems. Customers expected us to provide it as a free extra, but the server maintenance, spam filtering, and support were killing us. It was a touchy thing to change since there is no other service a customer will completely freak out over than email being unavailable for more than a minute. Billy handled the entire process, from conception to customer handling to moving accounts. By the end, our customers had a better solution they were thrilled about and we weren't wasting time and money on managing email services. I still consider it one of the best changes we ever made in the history of the company. Another great example is the interface for Sitemason 6. Developed in 2012, it is still on the leading edge for complex interfaces, but at the time, you could only find something of that level at Apple or Google. While the development and some of the design were handled by others, the whole idea, the specific concepts of the interface, the planning, and the project management were all Billy. That effort took Sitemason from a robust, but clunky interface to a sleek, fast, high-end piece of software. Aside from being extremely capable, Billy is one of the easiest people to work with and his loyalty to the team has never wavered. He has more than earned his role as a partner in the company."
