Manage the Operations, Sales, Warehousing, Safety, and Marketing in the Midwest region for a National environmental inspection and remediation company, specializing in environmental mycotoxin treatments for patient/clients suffering from mold and mycotoxin illness. I facilitated the market expansion from Midwest states including KS, MO, IA, and CO, into OK, AR, NE, MN, IL, IN, and OH.

Responsible for all aspects of a Midwest regional LtL Carrier Terminal. Motivate sales staff through directional guidance, targeting market types and areas, following up with inactive accounts, creating revenue goals, and generating revenue reports. Maintain the safe and efficient operation of drivers, dock workers, dispatchers, customer service reps, billing clerks, and Inbound / Outbound / Dock supervisors. Create and grow relationships with our customers and vendors. Audit driver logs, mileage reports, invoices, and contracts. Other than exceeding profitability goals for the company, my most important role was to provide a safe and professional work environment where my employees wanted to come to work every day.

Maintain and manage all operational functions at the terminal level, for a Midwest / Northern regional LtL carrier. Coordinated outbound line hauls, supervised dock workers and city drivers, audited log books, and kept terminal in compliance with all DoT, CSA, and OSHA standards. I was also primarily responsible for our HazMat Emergency Plan which required regular monitoring, implementing new strategies, and training all employees in the storage, transportation / securing, labeling, placarding, and cleanup of Hazardous Materials.

Manage the operations and sales of a local terminal for a Midwest regional trucking company, in addition to directing the operations of 4 other terminals. Coordinate fluid Linehauls, efficient P&D, and optimize sales potential for local/regional sales reps and account managers. Initiate and grow relationships with local and regional customers. Create a more profitable company through implementation of cost reducing procedures, risk management, and strategic contract negotiations.

As a Local and Regional Driver, I trained new drivers to comply with all DoT and Company safety regulations while promoting efficiency and productivity. I also coordinated safety meetings for drivers in the Kansas City area to reduce accidents stemming from seasonal changes.
