I am a Civil Engineer, an Associate Researcher at the Institute for the Mitigation of the Effects of El Niño Phenomenon (IMEFEN), which belongs to the National University of Engineering (UNI), and a LIF Fellow at Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng).I did professional practice at consulting firm Rizzo Associates Peru S.A. and the National Hydraulics Laboratory (LNH).I managed to do my thesis, approved with Excellence, at the Institute for the Mitigation of the Effects of El Niño Phenomenon (IMEFEN). This R and D project was funded by the Research Institute of the School of Civil Engineering (IIFIC UNI). Besides, it was supported by the Geotechnical Laboratory of CISMID and, especially by the National Hydraulics Laboratory, where the main experiments were performed. Innovation was generated as a product of this work (patent pending-INDECOPI).
