Ensured capital investment in additional machinery stayed ahead of future market growth• Achieved record sales in May 2009 while moving the operations into the new manufacturing plant• Achieved sales growth from $1.7M a month in 2009 to a record $4.3M a month in December 2012 – new machinery and continuous improvement of our manufacturing techniques made this result possible.• Implemented a Document Management System (SharePoint) into the company

Ausdrill Enterprises is part of the Ausdrill Group, an integrated, multinational mining and energy service group comprising of 16 business units. Ausdrill Enterprises manufacture and supply production and exploration drilling consumables.• Responsible for strategic planning and layout design for a new purpose-built manufacturing plant – moved 20 Computer Numerical Controlled machines from our former premises. This clearly identified and enabled greater scrutiny of new products manufactured. This ensured costs and operation times were maximised to their full potential.• Implemented a change to reduce the cost of tooling inventory and save time on manual purchasing – researched and installed a tooling consumable vending machine. This automated ordering ensured we no longer ran out of consumables, and saved 2.5 hours per week searching for tooling on the shop floor and started the automated process of shopfloor ordering of consumables.
