This clearly identified and enabled greater scrutiny of new products manufactured. This ensured costs and operation times were maximised to their full potential.• Implemented a change to reduce the cost of tooling inventory and save time on manual purchasing – researched and installed a tooling consumable vending machine. This automated ordering ensured we no longer ran out of consumables, and saved 2.5 hours per week searching for tooling on the shop floor and started the automated process of shopfloor ordering of consumables.
