As a Director of Engineering I lead and mentor a dynamic software engineering team, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality software products on time and within budget. In addition to my role as a Development Manager, I am involved in new initiatives to create an integrated platform as a service. As part of this effort, I am working on integrated process automation tools, including Mulesoft Anypoint Studio.In my capacity as a Development Manager, I coach team leads and their team members to achieve their full potential, manage the release plan with the product management team, and facilitate team leads and their teams in setting and achieving goals. I also promote inter-team collaboration and collaborate with product management and engineering leadership to develop the product roadmap, including adopting the latest technologies for test automation, test-driven development, and DevOps.Furthermore, I work as a bridge between the engineering team and other departments and collaborate with engineering leadership to analyze and develop KPIs. I also help team leads maintain a healthy working environment for their teams.

As part of my responsibilities as a SoS Leader, I collaborate with the product owner on various tasks such as creating and maintaining the product backlog, sprint backlog, sprint burndown, and release burndown. Additionally, I create user stories and assist with release planning, product backlog grooming, team building, sprint metrics preparation, resource planning, and removal of impediments.My role also includes executing and monitoring the planned work, providing updates to the product owner and stakeholders on the progress, identifying areas for improvement to increase team velocity, ensuring quality control, and delivering new features as agreed upon during sprint planning. To aid in these efforts, I established several Communities of Practice (CoPs) for product quality tracking and brainstorming, which helped with feature estimation, iteration tracking, and planning sessions.In my position, I also develop reports and summaries for executive leadership and interact with senior leaders throughout the organization. Additionally, I coordinate integrations, dependencies, and deliverables, conduct Scrum of Scrums (SoS) meetings, identify and help resolve impediments, and lead sprint retrospectives and demos for over 10 teams.

As a Scrum Master, I lead the daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective. I also work closely with the product owner to manage the product backlog, sprint backlog, sprint burndown, and release burndown.My role also involves managing the performance and delivery of cross-functional teams and ensuring their progress and successes are highly visible to the product owner and stakeholders. To achieve this, I continuously communicate with the team and publicize their progress.In addition to these responsibilities, I make sure that the team stays together throughout the project to ensure successful sprints.

I have collaborated with various teams to design and develop several applications and modules using C++ as the primary programming language. Some examples of the applications/modules I have worked on include a plugin written in C++ for Adobe InDesign CS5 and the core module of the "Tango" product for data management.For the development of the "Tango" product, I used several third-party libraries, such as Boost, ICU, LibXml2, Xslt, zlib, LibCurl, Google Protocol Buffers, and Google V8 engine, to write the core module in C++.
