My role was to manage the complete GSM Telecom Operation of East Region in India. As a TBO leader of Support team consisting 40 other members.Supporting one of IBM’s largest strategic outsource GSM Telecom project. I own TBO support service delivery ( Billing, CRM, NMS, Mediation, DWH, Prepaid operations ) for end users across 7 discrete sites; with my teams consistently delivering a high level of service and customer satisfaction. I am responsible for SLA Compliance, Responsible for solutioning , new development changes required for Service Delivery Platform implementation for VAS and core services in a typical telco network. Project Title Data Migration From EHPT system to Unicorn – Convergent Billing System Role in the Project As a Project leader of Data migration team consisting five other members, my prime responsibility was to insure complete and accurate data migration from EHPT into Unicorn 6.0 without losing the history of financial and non-financial activities for prepaid as well as postpaid subscribers within the limited time-frame.My additional responsibilities were:• Understanding EHPT data processes • Audit of EHPT data.• Mapping between EHPT processes/Data and Unicorn processes and data• Data migration code review and performance testing to ensure smooth and in-time data migration• Performing pre porting tests and review of configuration for every new division techenolgy wise.• Performing the post porting checks for smooth production operations.• Reviewing all technical documents related to Data migration delivered to the customer.

My role in Hutchison Telecom was as Manager – Billing, reporting to GM – IT, with strong functional and domain knowledge on telecom billing. I was the Project Manager for Migration of Billing system from Unicorn to BSCS and finished this project in record time ( without any slippage) . During this migration phase my role was co-ordinate business requirement study & SOW preparation, GAP analysis & DCR , Functional Specifications, Technical Specifications, preparation of various test case document for UAT , testing of critical module like service provisioning, Rate plan creation & rating testing, bill calculations during Implementation phases and maintained project plan co-ordinated Operations set-up for the Oracle database system and installation of the BSCS system. Also business rules set-up to configure the system for HUTCH needs , Involved close co-operation with , the software vendor SEMA .I was also responsible for the heading of whole Billing Operation of HUTCH – Kolkata. My prime responsibility was interfacing with all user groups like Sales & Marketing, Activation, Credit & Collection, Revenue assurance, Call centre and the IT team for Postpaid.
