Engineering Manager
Current• Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team.• Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.• Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard.• Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.• Analyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements.• Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments.• Updating work schedules and performing troubleshooting as required.• Motivating staff and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns.• Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.• Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders.• Define and manage the product lifecycle including market requirements, product release plans, user stories, release criteria, product launch and organization readiness activities.• Lead the execution of the product vision, strategy and roadmap for a product or set of products within a product family, communicating the vision and goals of the product to internal and external stakeholders.• Develop the product positioning and contribute to product pricing decisions.• Create and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing needs and mapping out project dependencies to inform the necessary sequence of development.• Establish the commercial and business case for product enhancement, continuously seeking the expansion and improvement of existing products.• Partnering with senior internal stakeholders and customers to validate requirements and priorities through various forums, working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support team to ensure business case and customer satisfaction goals are met.
