Bimal Peiris was Chief Operating Officer (COO)for Lending for the Americas at Deutsche Bank's Wealth Management (WM) division, which encompasses the Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW )as well as High Net Worth (HNW) client segments. Previously, he led Strategy for Lending for the Americas WM division and was also the Global CFO for the Lending, Deposit, Custody, Trust and Asset and Liability unit of Asset and Wealth Management (AWM) of Deutsche Bank. Bimal's COO and CFO responsibility for Wealth Management America’s Lending business covered Structure, Commercial, Residential and Lombard lending to UHNW and HNW with clients in the Americas. His oversight included responsibility over all operational, transformation, strategic planning and forecasting and strategic projects for this business unit. Bimal had a global team in New York, Jacksonville, Miami and India. In his Global CFO role he led teams across the globe to include London, Frankfurt, Singapore, Geneva and Manila.Bimal has over 20 years experience in Wealth Management in Lending, Finance and business/product management and capacities including roles at Legg Mason and Deutsche Bank. Bimal's international experience includes assignments in Frankfurt (2007-2010) and London (2011-2013).
