Melody is a postdoctoral research fellow at Northwestern University. She graduated with a PhD in Rehabilitation Science and a graduate certificate in Disability Studies from the University of Washington. She is an occupational therapist by training and has clinical experience in both the US and China. She specializes in qualitative research, mixed methods studies, and community-engaged research. Melody's career goal is to become an independent researcher who utilizes her research skills to promote healthy aging, community participation, and health-related quality of life for people living with disabilities and advocate for disability justice.
