In my recent most role as Director, Credit Solution with S&P Global Market Intelligence, I was responsible for the development of credit analytics models and products to evaluate the credit risk of companies. Below were my key contributions in this role:• Developed and delivered dozens of S&P credit risk assessment models to financial instituions clients. Those models are used to evaluate the credit risk of entities in sectors such as Local Government, Information Technology, Capital Goods, Mining, Chemicals, Real Estate, Commercial bank and investment bank, Insurance, Asset Manager, etc. • I was tasked with providing abundant credit analysis services to clients’ portfolios.• Developped the Early Warning Signals model which can automatically monitor the credit risk of banks world widely. The model’s prediction ability is proved to be better than the prediction ability of ratings issued by local rating agencies.

In my previous role as Associate Director, Enterprise Risk Services with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu CPA Ltd., I championed the delivery of credit risk modeling, validation, and Basel II/III compliance services to financial institutions. Below are my key contributions in this role:• The company showed faith in me to provide credit risk modeling (IRB) and validation services for the 5 biggest banks in China.• I was invited by CBRC (China Banking Regulatory Commission) to conduct seminars for hundreds of banks because of my thorough understanding of the credit risk management requirements of bank regulators.
