Teaching, empowering and supervising IT students in order to support them in enhancing their technical knowledge (namely in relation to a range of software, hardware and networking issues). - Devising innovative strategies to enhance the learning potential of students.- Assisting new starters through the induction process. - Developing and sustaining an excellent rapport with students to facilitate trust and understanding.

Maintaining responsibility for all areas of IT support (including hardware, software and networking issues) and delivering an exceptional level of technical support to service users. - Liaising with service users in order to discuss technical issues, involving: answering all incoming requests in a timely manner via telephone or email and devising troubleshooting strategies to determine the issue’s root cause. - Delivering advice to service users to prevent similar technical issues from re-occurring and successfully simplifying technical issues/systems in order to drive clarity. - Where required, deploying disaster recovery procedures. - Re-building the network (including re-connecting all routers and servers) and ensuring all technical issues are resolved. - Where required, escalating complex issues to the relevant IT personnel.- Adhering to all technical specifications effectively.
