• Work closely with business stakeholders to collect and translate requirements into reporting solutions.• Develop and update reports and dashboards/dossiers within MicroStrategy (Architected & Free Form SQL).• Migrate MicroStrategy reports to Tableau platform and create new dashboards with Tableau Desktop using advanced techniques (LOD, table calculations, etc.), conduct creator and admin duties on Tableau Server and TSM.• Write advanced SQL scripts to implement business logics and conduct query performance tuning, databases used include SQL Server, Oracle 11i, PostgreSQL and DB2.• Work on data modeling and table design for enterprise data warehouse enhancements.• Troubleshoot ETL issues, develop new programs for external data feed (SSIS & Talend).• Conduct MicroStrategy admin duties such as user permissions, server performance monitoring, subscription management, scripted automation, licensing, and object migration.

• Develop and maintain SSRS reports on report server and web application.• Assist web development with backend database tasks like creating stored procedures, views and tables.• Manage data loading, troubleshoot issues and revise SSIS packages accordingly.• Act as junior DBA, monitor daily Databases backup and restoration on multiple servers.

• Write complex SQL scripts to collect and compile information for business reports, KPIs and metrics.• Develop SSRS reports utilizing drill-down/drill-through, grouping, etc. and publish on Sharepoint sites.• Design and implement SSIS packages for ETL tasks to support data reporting.• Utilize dimensional data to implement data reporting with Excel Power Pivot.

• Creat business reports from SQL Server database with complex queries, views and stored procedures.• Develop SSRS reports with complex expressions, parameters, custom coding, etc.• Work on system interface and data integrity; research data schemas among different systems and files, design staging tables/views to facilitate data mapping and conversion.• Utilize SSIS packages and SQL Server Agent jobs to manage ETL among various sources and destinations.
