Bina Singh, Founder and Principal Architect at Design Transit (DT), is a technology-driven design enthusiast. She founded DT in 2010, in Bangalore, as a multidisciplinary architecture and interior design firm. Over the years, Bina has solidified Design Transit's presence in the architecture and interior design industry with a passion for creating transformative spaces that embody the principles of ‘coexistence’ between people, spaces, and nature.She has a Bachelor’s in Architecture (Gold Medal) from the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) in Bangalore and is an alumna of IIM-B. Her academic excellence and passion for design laid the foundation for her future endeavors in the design realm.Bina embraces a biophilic design approach, drawing inspiration from nature and seamlessly integrating human qualities, spaces, and the environment. Her design philosophy revolves around the belief that simplicity can be complex and that complexity can be a rewarding challenge. Under Bina’s leadership, Design Transit has created a lasting impact in the architectural realm, with a portfolio spanning 250 projects across several typologies.
