Chief Program Officer
CurrentOversee a Program team of 15+ people, including 2 Senior Directors and 4 Directors implementing direct service programming to educators, children and families across the Commonwealth. Provide leadership, strategic vision, coaching and budget oversight for all programs across the organization.Partner with governement leadership to ensure alignment of programs and sustainable outcomes, including Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, City of Boston and Department of Early Education and Care. Collaborate with early learning providers, educators, program partners, and public sector agencies to create systems change and sustainable solutions. Speak on panels and at local and national conferences about innovative programs including BUILD, NAEYC, Boston Foundation, and more.Currently oversee the full spectrum of Neighborhood Villages’ programs, including:- the Neighborhood, an innovation lab to test and evaluate scalable solutions to address systemic challenges in the early childhood education sector. - Workforce solutions including Professional Pathways and Good Jobs Challenge to connect educators to Community College courses, and Business Training to support Family Childcare and Center-based providers with understanding business practices- the creation and implementation of Neighborhood Villages’ Registered ECE Apprenticeship program for early education teachers and Directors and future expansion to other career pathways within the field, with 68 graduates in the first year and 100 new apprentices beginning the second year. In addition, leading the brand new role of Industry Ambassador to support other organizations expansion of Registered Apprenticeship programs in MA.
