Key Responsibilities:• Successfully developed, implemented and updated Ground Control Management Plan (GCMP).• Prepared and executed geotechnical monitoring & instrumentation plans at strategic locations for LOM.• Monitored paste fill behavior during underhand mining and established paste strength curve for different combinations of cement & fly-ash. • Scrutinized long term mine designs to control the rate of deformation and achieve a stable mining front.• Utilized borehole camera for damage mapping inside LOM raises, ore passes and hand held ZEB-Revo Scanner for convergence monitoring.• Generated monthly geotechnical reports focusing on rehabilitation plans & compliance, pull testing records, paste drive observations, underground inspections, monitoring data etc.

Key Responsibilities:• Investigated rock bolt failure causes & provided training to jumbo operators of different sections to improve ground support installation practices.• Successfully completed projects on optimization of ground support design as per rock mass conditions to reduce development and stoping cycle time.• Developed short term production plans by extending support to mine planning department to achieve the business plan.• Examined ground conditions and developed hazard plans through damage mapping and rehabilitation plans.• Successfully trialed and developed indigenous bolts to reduce cost of production.• Planned and maintained stock of support items at site for minimum 3 months with the help of Commercial & Logistics team.• Optimized cement content in backfilling operations with fly-ash and in some cases waste filling in secondary stopes to control waste handling

Key Responsibilities:• Mapping of all development faces & plotting on level plans along with the Q & RMR of rock mass.• Structural & Interval logging of all oriented boreholes to find the attitudes of major discontinuity through upcoming LOM infrastructures.• Successfully trialed and established 2.4m long resin capsules along with secura type of bolts in underground.• Introduced mechanical end anchored bulbed cable bolts with plates to increase the load bearing capacity and restrict higher deformation in squeezing type of ground conditions.• Performed empirical stope stability analysis by plotting in Matthews’ Stability Graph and raise stability analysis by McCracken & Stacey Method to find the stable raise dimensions.• Assisted QA/QC work for ground support items like resin gel and set time testing, tensile strength testing of bolts along with weld strength testing of wire-mesh.• Maintained stope blast event reports by capturing blast vibration data through micromate to analyze the peak particle velocity & reduce rock mass damage
