 Meet with administration to determine the requirements and space prioritization. Develop preliminary drawings showing the floor and site plans for the proposed expansion. Resolved design and development problems, managed budgets and project resources. Performed structural design and served as structural engineer of record for new checkpoints for Madinah City entry and exit point. Primary responsibilities including design of gravity and lateral frames and foundations. Several building configurations were evaluated including multiple storey with full and partial basements as well as multiple framing systems. Worked on a fast track basis with the time from preliminary design until occupancy of less than 12 months. Project scope included all engineering, civil and site work, foundation construction, building supply and erection, interior partitions, electrical, and project management including lead interface with the MDA (Madinah Development Authority).
