With over seven years of experience in engineering research and education, I am a passionate and driven Senior Development Engineer at Airbus, where I work on the cutting-edge technology for zero emission flights. My mission is to contribute to the development and integration of hydrogen-based propulsion systems that can reduce the environmental impact of aviation and create a more sustainable future. I have a strong background in system simulation, fluid mechanics, and numerical methods, and I hold a Doctor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Leibniz University Hanover.In my current role, I am the focal point for pump, pipe and valve modeling on system level for LH2 storage and distribution, collaborating with external partners and stakeholders. I also support key learnings with modeling studies to fulfill the MoC towards TRL levels, and contribute to several sizing tools in python in an international environment across Europe. Additionally, I supervise students and share my knowledge and expertise as a former Research Assistant and Lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hanover, where I led a small research group in developing a novel compressor technology to TRL4. I have skills in system simulation, explaining complex topics easily understandable and fluid mechanics, and I enjoy working in interdisciplinary and diverse teams to make a change through innovation.
