Graduate Research Assistant
NIH-funded research assistantship- Modeled biological system pathology using non-linear, elliptic-hyperbolic partial differential equations (PDEs).- Developed high-order wave propagation algorithms to numerically solve PDEs to investigate impact of parametric changes on low-Reynolds flow dynamics.- Implemented a novel framework in C++ and Fortran to solve multiphase Navier-Stokes equations on adaptively refined meshes, yielding over 8x speed-up compared to uniform grids.- Developed and released a C++ software library that offers the above framework to flow physics researchers.- Executed code on a high-performance computing cluster in a Linux environment with a task scheduling system (SLURM).- Proficient at using low-level routines from BLAS, LAPACK, & PETSc for building krylov subspace solvers and preconditioners.- Worked on various research projects in ML, computer vision and sequence processing.
Teaching Assistant
Awarded the 2021 S. Koksal Excellence in Teaching Award.- Organized and developed the lab curriculum for new courses introduced to the honors college: Honors Differential Equations (MTH3200) and Honors Calc 3 (MTH2010).- Prepared and delivered lab sessions on developing numerical solvers in MATLAB.- Created lab notes, source code and solution manual in LaTeX for MTH3200.- Provided one-on-one and group tutoring (in-person and virtual) to students during office hours.
Research Fellowship
- Performed extensive literature review, data analysis and due diligence of prospective biopharma and biotech companies.- Analyzed clinical datasets from a vast range of sources to identify whether trial endpoints have been met.
Advanced Development Phd Intern
Collaborated with physicists to develop computational algorithms to solve inverse problems arising in critical dimension process control for high-aspect ratio logic devices by utilizing non-linear optimization and deep learning.
Advanced Development Phd Intern
PhD intern in the R&D group of the FaST division. Sensitivity analysis and optimization of system parameters for next generation X-ray scattering metrology for semiconductor devices such as 3D NAND, V-NAND, and DRAM.
Structures Lead - Undergraduate Capstone Design
Project sponsored by NASA - KSC and NASA - FSGC to design and manufacture an operational rover.- Spearheaded the design of the chassis and composite wheels for our Mars Rover.- Built the chassis and composite wheels at FL Tech Machine Shop and Harris Design Center.- Optimized wheel design to minimize sinkage in Martian Regolith through the use of Carbon Fiber composites and 3D printed grousers.- Held monthly meetings with NASA officials to provide updates on design and manufacturing.-Attended the AIAA Student Regionals II Conference to showcase our Mars Rover design.-Presented our operational, Mars-rated Rover at the senior showcase and received first place award.
Structural Analysis Engineer
• Automated stress analysis procedures using Visual Basic.• Prepared substantiation reports based on validated Finite Element Models (FEMs) that conformed to FAA CFR Part 23 requirements.• Analyzed data from strain gages during load frame tests to detect cracking.• Prepared geometry, created constraint sets and defined load cases for static analysis using FEMAP.
