Acting as a point of contact for our clients, and by extension being the key contact person fund managers and other service providers for resolving any issues;Taking care of the day-to-day operations of the funds and following up with third parties and fund managers;Driving the preparation of the funds’ periodic Net Asset Value calculation and year-end financial statements, management of the audit, tax and reviewing other fund related reports;Driving the preparation of the fund accounts, periodic and regulatory reports for the fund entities;Assisting the Managers in driving the initial setup of any new funds taken on and liaising with independent tax specialists, lawyers, and notaries as part of the set up process;Pro-actively took on additional responsibilities and tasks from time-to-time as required by your Managers or clients; andSupporting Managers and Senior Management in ensuring quality work was delivered to the clients.

Responsible for all Fund accounting, taxation, unit pricing, investor reporting, compliance,regulatory matters and financial reporting for Debt & Equity Funds, including: Preparation and review of monthly management accounts; - Calculation and review of monthly distributions; - Calculation and review of monthly unit prices and NAV’s (accounting and adjusted); - Calculation and review of management fees; - Responsible for liquidity management of funds, including weekly cashflow modelling andforecasting for each fund; - Preparation and review of information for inclusion in investor reporting; - Assisiting with external audit of funds; - Responsible for preparation and review of regulatory and statutory reporting; - Responsible for preparation and review of income tax matters of the Funds, including annual income tax calculations and GST compliance; - Preparation and review of annual tax statements for investors - Reviewing Loan and investment documentation as well as facility agreements to interpretand identify appropriate accounting and tax treatment; - Providing peer review of other in-house funds; - Working closely with external service providers (e.g. custodian, bank, tax and accountingadvisors); and - Other adhoc queries relating to the funds.

Leading the Financial Reporting Team, I worked closely alongside audit partners, directors and other manager’s. My role included the preparation and reviewing of statutory financial statements for our audit clients, maintaining and developing client relationships and supervising, training and mentoring my financial reporting team.
