It took some time for me to get adjusted to the new environment and working style. Capsola was different from the inbound call center in LogicaCMG where vendors called or emailed regarding payment status. I had to work on getting relevant approvals at the earliest and ensure payments are made in order to achieve vendor satisfaction for which I was awarded in June 2005. AT Capsola, I had to sell a renewable energy product like solar to either individuals [B2C] or corporates [B2B] which was different from what I have done so far. It was a good learning experience because it enhanced my cold calling skills, making conversation with strangers, along with improving customer services skills and gained knowledge on the sales system used in Australia called CRM. This experience also taught me how to improve my business development skills by looking at archives and generating business from existing customer database and increasing cross sell and up sell strategy by offering renewable energy induced batteries among others. I also was able to perform survey calls and gain feedback from our customers which helped in making us a better organization.

As part of the pilot team I travelled to Singapore within a month of joining to transition the FDE process. This laid the foundation of extracting the financial statements & preparing ratios, which formed the basis for the customer’s credit assessment performed by RMs’ and helps in obtaining risk and credit approvals. In 2011, I had another opportunity to travel to Singapore and transition the credit admin activities. This process increased my knowledge in institutional lending, team management, people & stakeholder management, risk & compliance and dealing with treasury on a daily basis. I was recognized by the CEO of ANZ Banking Group Singapore for Outstanding Performance and demonstration of ANZ values in 2013. In 2015 I moved into a new role as the Operations Lead which helped me hone my training skills across the department for various regions like Asia Pacific, Greater Mekong, UK, US and New Zealand. I conducted process and non-process training, for new and existing staff. I was also given an opportunity of working on all the new projects and transitions based on PMP methodology. While working on these projects I was involved in cloud-based projects and analysing the risk involved which was an interesting project. I then moved into the MI and finance which was a totally different stream and that was the most rewarding part. Overcoming the initial challenges in the training phase, I was able to perform the activities and my manager was ecstatic with my phenomenal growth in that year. This last year laid the foundation for the MI reporting in my career. Extensive usage of tools like Qlikview, Excel, PPT led me to explore avenues in IT and analysis. This led me to enhance my skills by learning Power BI and Tableau which help in reporting functions. Overall a very satisfying experience. -

Ensuring quality control for all activities performed. Was also part of the testing of the automation tool which helped create invoices which were sent for sign off. These 10 months set off the continuation of my Logica days in finance field.
