I am an experienced healthcare professional with over 20 years of experience in multiple settings such as acute care, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing. In addition, having worked as a Director of Rehabilitation and as an Occupational Therapist, I have a solid foundation in understanding the complexities of patient care and how to maneuver the dynamics of case management. My current role in utilization review has allowed me to expand my skills in managing the day-to-day operations involved in discharge planning, care coordination, and clinical quality improvement. I also help drive change by identifying performance improvement areas, meeting patient needs across a continuum of care and promote efficient delegation of resources. My job experience has also provided me with a strong understanding of multiple payment systems, ICD10, MDS, CMS, Medicare, and Medicaid regulations.
