Dr. Bindukumar Kansupada has a passion for improving healthcare for global citizens in real-time using medical technology as well as spirituality. He is active with the American Medical Association (AMA) for international medical graduates to enhance equality, improve diversity and inclusion.After joining a large Cardiology private practice in Pennsylvania, he pioneered the establishment of one of the first nationally certified Nuclear and Echocardiography facilities. Dr. Kansupada's passion for lean practice management, quality control standards and initiation of computerization systems in healthcare led to sustained improvements in clinical delivery, efficiency and cost savings. This led him to be invited as an adviser to health insurers such as IBS, Keystone Mercy and OakTree Health Plan. Additionally, as a board-certified Cardiologist and with over two decades of clinical experience with demonstrable positive outcomes, he has maintained Director grade leadership positions in his affiliated hospitals. He was awarded prestigious fellowships by the American College of Cardiology, Chest Physicians and Nuclear Cardiology.In 2011, he was appointed to the Pennsylvania Advisory Council by Governor Tom Corbett, and now Governor Tom Wolf. He sits on the healthcare policy councils for both Representative Brian Fitzpatrick (PA) and Senator Roger Marshall (KS). He has been selected to sit on various boards and works closely with the Pennsylvania Medical Society, Bucks County Medical Society, American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI), the Federation of Indian Physicians Association (FIPA) and the WHEELS Global Foundation.
