Led overall operation of the USP-China site. Established and optimized long-term strategies, led functional departments (operation, laboratory, business development, finance, legal, and external affairs), grew total revenue in Greater China Region. Initiated and built stronger relations with government agencies, and collaborated with corporate and other international sites for maximum synergy in various functions.

Responsible for overall new business development. Significantly expanded client base and business opportunities in the areas of DMPK and bioanalysis. Built solid project pipelines to serve both small biotechs and large pharmaceutical companies.

Responsible for business development in the East Coast and Central United States. Developed new business in all service areas, chemistry, biology, and animal studies from pharmaceutical, biotech and university clients. Established a diverse client base with many repeat business.

In China, responsible for overall operation of the Shanghai subsidiary: profit and loss (P&L), organization, management, communication, technical departments (GMP/GLP), business development, client services, project management, logistics and relations with Chinese government agencies. In US, responsible for business development in the areas of government agencies, institutions and universities.

At JNJ-McNeil site, defined and executed Kelly business objectives and operation in organization, finance, staffing, delivery and business relations. Led Kelly scientists in JNJ departments: R&D, Quality Control, and Microbiology. Increased Kelly staff number and revenue.

In Manufacturing, managed GMP manufacturing QC laboratory daily operation. Led QC biochemistry analysts to conduct product testing, analytical method transfer, training, and non-conformance investigations. Authored, reviewed, revised, and approved FDA submission documents. Reviewed and approved results for GMP manufacturing products.In Research and Development, managed department analytical and technology group. Led the development of high-throughput protein analytical assays, including LC/MS, fluorescence, ELISA, etc. Directed scientists in analytical method development and sample testing.

Conducted research on protein, DNA and PCR products using various MS instruments.
