Key Responsibilities：- Execute manual test procedures for code download, auto-provisioning, digital video recording, video on demand, pay-per-view, parental control, close caption, 3D feature, multi-tuner and other end-user features on new Verizon cable software products and the Android / iOS mobile devices they support. This testing supports qualification of software releases prior to general availability to Verizon customers. This includes how the software functions on the set top boxes and mobile devices and how the software functions with the headend and cloud environment. - Investigate software defects for features mentioned above, create detailed Jira defect reports, assist Development in triage / investigations and run retests and fix verification tests on new builds. Debug of defects includes capturing and analyzing log files with developer support, running and analyzing Wireshark network captures, running diagnostics via TR069 server and Broadband Home Router diagnostics.- Dolby 5.1/7.1 testing with SPDIF/HDMI/Analog input.- Edit and execute automated test scripts in EDGE Manager for testing purpose.- Troubleshoot network & hardware failures for test sets.- Provide accurate and timely status to project manager, support other new test staff in my areas of expertise on CDL and Auto Provisioning.
