CurrentFairé Soap Works started out as a Social Innovation Project (SIP), collaborated between the University of Economics and Singapore Polytechnic School of Business in 2017. Our team identified a huge waste of cow milk sourced from Cu Chi farms and turned them into Artisan milk-based soaps. With a start-up grant from Mapletree, Faire produced chemical-free soaps from excess cow's milk sourced in Cu Chi Village in Vietnam. Apart from reducing the wastage of excess milk, these soaps help to uplift the Vietnamese farmers’ income and better their livelihood. The project launched in Singapore in 2018 and won several Innovative Startup Awards. It was just a "student project" until we commercialized it in late 2018, which became a big success in Singapore. Fairé Soap Works launches its first presence in Vietnam Market with its appearance at the Opening of Oakwood Residence in 2019. The event was graced by Guest-of-Honour Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore, Mr Teo Chee Hean, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Mr Nguyen Thanh Phong, Chairman of Mapletree, Mr Edmund Cheng and Chairman of Saigon Co.op, Mr Diep Dung.In 2021, Fairé Soap Works is officially open in Vietnam.
