I work to provide ongoing project coordination among multiple Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives; track and manage timelines for projects and deliverables. I plan, coordinate and execute internal and external activations, serve as point of contact / liaison, representing diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, across our ministries and outside organizations, produce special and recurring reports; Maintain and monitor diversity metrics, corresponding dashboards, and recurring reports to measure success against established goals, and incorporate into future strategy and initiatives. I also establish and maintain a Caregiver Resource Group structure and identify a process and methodology for developing successful caregiver resource groups, managing them, providing tools and structure as needed, integrating them in the business and maximizing the groups for the advancement of the organization's mission.

I am responsible for the 12-15 students in the adult/children's advanced level classes. I have coordinated classes and events for the school. Also, I play a central role in the school's social media network and communications platforms. I have also been a judge for a number of years for the school's monthly belt promotion tests.

I help lead a group of 6-8 college students through lifestyle changes. The intention is for students to make and sustain healthy behaviors through their food intake and physical activity.

Office Of Finance And Administration

I helped coordinate the activities for the Vice President and three Vice Provost administrative members. I have directed and trained department student workers. I also oversaw and maintained the department's website and technological equipment. Organizing and paying department invoices and expenses were part of my duties while working in this office.

Multicultural Center

I created and launched the Multicultural Center's (MCC) official website. In addition, I trained the staff members on how to manage and handle the room requests which were built into the website.

Horticultural Therapy

I worked directly with rehabilitation patients during horticultural sessions. I also developed handouts for patients on how to properly care and maintain their plants when they are discharged from the hospital.

Oregon State Cancer Registry

I researched and incorporated information for the bi-annual cancer progress report that the department publishes. I have also developed and maintained data for the childhood diabetes database.

Office Of University Communications

I maintained the web communications and content on the department websites. I trained and lead the student workers as well as provided technological support for all equipment in the department.

Skills Enhancement And Tutoring Center

I assisted Portland State students in general chemistry and writing for drop-in tutoring. In addition, I provided additional assistance (one-on-one) tutoring for Education Opportunity Program (EOP) students.

Vietnamese Student Association

Helped promote cultural awareness and diversity on the Portland State campus and Portland area communities. I was heavily involved in the three-campus wide events that brought exposure for the Vietnamese culture.

Rehabilitation Institute Of Oregon (Rio)

I provided assistance for the medical staff in their daily operations. I transported patients to their scheduled therapy sessions. Also, I served as a resource for patients and family members for the department.

Immunizations

I promoted healthy lifestyles for the resident families in Washington County. The objectives were to get health services for the uninsured minority population, and to ensure immunization updates for children entering school that year.
