Doha, Qatar

I worked on various projects as a consultant representing Quantex Qatar. I was helping and advising the clients of Quantex Qatar with commercially managing their projects. I was also involved in the procurement and post-contract activities. My major experience was for an oil and gas-related project for Shell at Ras Laffan. I was appointed as the Quantity Surveyor for the Contractor (Madina Gulf – Interserve). My primary role was to prepare, submit and get approval for variations. I was also involved in other post-contract activities.Prior to this project, I was stationed in the office and my main role was involved in the pre-contract activities like BOQ preparation, estimation, post-contract activities and commercial management for clients. I have also worked for the valuation for the demolition and construction of Labour camps at Ras Laffan and Messaied for Amwaj Group.

Bahrain

For the operations in Bahrain, I served as the Retail Outlet Group Landmark's lone quantity surveyor. I was in charge of all the quantity surveying, commercial management and procurement-related tasks for the many shops and outlets that were opening or being renovated in Bahrain, including supplier management, pre-qualifying vendors/suppliers, tendering, negotiating, LOA, post-contract activities etc.

I was deployed by Qonqests to the client DLF. DLF is one of the largest real estate developers in India. I was employed as the Commercial Manager for the DLF Golf Course Project. I was also a senior cost manager for the DLF Infrastructure and Golf Structures Project at the same time. I oversaw teams of cost managers, senior quantity surveyors, quantity surveyors, and document controllers. I participated in DLF's (the client's) contractual and business dealings about the premier golf course project. I advised the client on the commercial management aspects and also on the procurement activities. I was involved in pre-qualification, supplier management, tendering, negotiation, contract documentation, and post-contract activities from the client side.

I was deployed by AEC Promag to the client M/S Concorde Group. Concorde Group is a significant builder in Bangalore, India. I was employed by M/s Concorde group as Head of the Quantity Surveying Department. I was in charge of Concorde Builders' entire commercial management and quantity surveying-related (pre-contract and post-contract) activities. I was holding weekly meetings at the office and the sites to assign tasks and evaluate the work done by the team. I served as the Directors, Vice Presidents, and Project Managers' sole point of contact when addressing any contractual issues and commercial issues pertaining to the various projects. The team that reported to me included three quantity surveyors based on site, six quantity surveyors based in head office, two team leaders (Pre Contract and Post Contract) and one documents controller.By offering guidance on other commercial management and procurement challenges they encountered with other clients, I was also assisting AEC Promag.

Name of the client- Dubai Port World.I was involved in procurement and commercial management activities including building relationships with the key suppliers and advising on contractual matters to the key stakeholders and quantity surveying activities.
