My development and consulting career has spanned a number of industries and fields starting with Manufacturing (MES) work at Energizer and Industrial Computer Corp, through Telecom work for AT&T and XO, Financial Services and Insurance at CBOE, LCH, Nationwide, and Conseco, and ERP implementations while at Tribridge. Consulting has worked out well for me as I have had the opportunity to hit new challenges and technologies every year or two, but have also had some stability and the ability to represent a large firm at an international body (OMG). With that said, I am delighted to be leaving that world to invest my time in something I truly believe in and where I can make a real difference in children's lives. Lori and I founded LessonPix.com to provide visuals and materials for special ed teachers, SLPs and parents of children with autism. We're delighted that it has grown to the point where it is self-sufficient and that we've got the opportunity to "do well by doing good."In 2016, I founded ATMakers.org - a Non-Profit charity dedicated to bringing two communities together: Makers (technologists, robotics teams, makerspaces, etc.) and Assistive Technology users. Since then, our members have done amazing this - please join us.
