Key responsibilities include strategic planning, sustainability & decarbonization strategy, digital & software strategy, portfolio optimization including M&A and divestment. Successfully managed the business turnaround during the COVID years with 12% CAGR top line growth, and set the business on the course of doubling the profitability. Successfully launched next-generation large MW UPS platforms in both optimum and medium ranges, capturing the #1 global market share.In charge of managing the fast-growing global modular prefabricated data center business, which encompasses various business functions such as sales & marketing, product management, R&D, tendering, project engineering, project management, quality, supply chain, and industrialization. Responsible for the entire HBN product portfolio ranging from 500VA to 20kVA, including single phase UPS, Surge Protectors, and other power backup products used in Home, Small & Medium Business, Enterprise and Industrial environments, with a global business of ~$1.5 Billion annual revenue. Instrumental in driving business growth through strategic programs, including "game-changing" product and platform development, digitization and IOT enablement, commercial and industrial solutions, and consumer of the future, etc.

Took on an additional responsibility of Secure Power Division (SPD, formerly IT Business) China R&D Site Leader. Oversees SPD Greater China R&D center activities with over 300 people (three phase UPS, single phase UPS, rack, cooling, systems, industrialization, supply chain, HR & Admin). Led the fast growth plan for SPD Greater China R&D organization. Directly manage SPD China for China organization, dedicated to developing products and solutions to support Greater China business growth.Represent SPD in Schneider Electric R&D Council in China (RDCC). Animate cross team collaboration, optimize R&D system operation, and drive company compliance’s implementation in China.

We are the marketing leader for single phase Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Surge Protectors, and other power backup products widely used in Home, Small & Medium Business, Enterprise and Industrial environments. Our legendary APC brand represents the industry’s highest standard of quality and reliability.Responsible for creating profitable & differentiated solutions for the complete HBN product portfolio ranging from 500VA to 20kVA electric power continuation and backup power supply products, with a global business of ~$1.5 Billion annual revenue. Provided overall R&D and engineering leadership, directly managing a global team of ~200 engineers distributed in Boston, Shanghai, Taipei, Bangalore, and Fortaleza Brazil. Managed overall division R&D annual cash out of over USD 25 million. Strategized and executed multi-year global R&D footprint optimization plan, consolidating worldwide engineering resources into Schneider’s global technology hubs to improve innovation and execution capabilities. Built HBN Greater China Design Center in Shanghai.Spearheaded the overall technology innovation activities in the division. Board members are from the private sector and academia, and include both alumni and other individuals who are interested in the success of Georgia Tech.

Member of Envision’s Executive Management Committee, taking multiple leadership roles as Head (LPDT) of International Wind Turbine Products, Head (LPDT) of 3MW Wind Turbine Product Platform. Responsible for international wind turbine business P&L. Led a global agile development team of ~100 people in China, Denmark, Germany, and Mexico. Developed strategic relationship with global certification agencies such as DNV/GL and institutionalized Envision’s international wind turbine product certification competence.

Led Electrical Systems Technologies in Eaton’s Corporate Research & Technology (CRT) as Global Technology Director, focusing on power conversion, power system, and power distribution technologies. Responsible for overall organizational and technology leadership, managing a diverse team of researchers and engineers in US, China, and Czech Republic.
