Since 2018, I am the Managing Director and CEO of Banking Finance and Insurance Institute of Nepal Ltd.(BFIN). Currently, I represent as a Chairman of BFIN and the Board Member in Citizens Bank International, Emerging Nepal Limited, and Care Ratings Nepal Limited , and GIBS India. I serve as a Adjunct Professor at the Centurion University India; Editor Chief of the Journal of Banking Finance and Insurance and a Member of Advisory Council Member of Risk Management Association of India. I do represent as Advisory Member in Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) in Nepal. Life member of Management Association of Nepal.Worked 30 years with the central bank at executive position and over 3 years as CEO of largest commercial bank - the Nepal Bank limited . These experiences have strengthened me with deep knowledge of banking and financial infrastructure. I did work with UNDP projects in Maldives, Marshall Islands and Republic of Palau for over 7 years. Had an experience of a National Project Director for UNCDF project “ Access to Finance” and implemented to strengthen microfinance sector bin Nepal.Key skills include leadership in organizing training, workshop, conferences, research and consulting, project management, HR transformation, Five year Strategic Plan and the banking.Passionate about sharing knowledge at national and international forums, conferences , seminars and to the students.PhD from Victoria University of Technology, Masters of Public Administration from Nepal and Masters of Business Management from India proved to be a sound education foundation for my success. Complemented with training in the US, Europe, Asia , australia have enriched me further.Publication of over 4 dozen research articles both in national and international journals.
