As HOD Corporate Mining, co-ordinating with all three mining & beneficiation units of HCL located in Ghatsila -Jharkhand, Malanjkhand - Madhya Pradesh and Khetri- Rajasthan for sustained and safe operation and mining capacity enhancement of HCL to 12.2 Mtpa by expanding capacity of exiting mine, re-opening closed mine and opening new mines

As a senior management involved in mine planning including development of 5.00 Mtpa underground Malanjkhand Copper Underground mine, feasibility study of - 3.00 Mtpa paste-fill plant, 3.00 Mtpa new Copper concentration plant and capacity enhancement exisiting tailing pond. Heading Environment Department of Malanjkhand Copper Project and also responsible for obtaining & comlying regulatory permissions viz. EC, FC, NOC from wild life board, NOC from CGWB, CTE/CTO etc. for existing mines and plant and expansion project, development of alternate source of revenue by sale of mining waste i.e. OB etc.

Mining business development, technical & logistical leadership to mining & processing group, prepration of pre-fesaibility, feasibility, DPR, TEFR and project managment for Mining Project, mine planning & scheduling, estimation of capex & opex of mining project, monitoring group performance, recruitment & training of right persons and providing career path to subordinates and establishing and maintaining wide network of industry contacts

Responsible for setting-up new Mining & Mineral Business vertical in M/s Tata Metaliks, a subsidiary of Tata Steel to obtain self-sufficiency in raw material supply for existing pig iron plant at Kharagpur & Redi and also proposed iron & steel plant in Karnataka. Responsibility include development of mining business plan; short-term & long-term raw material sourcing strategies for existing & expansion project, identification of new mining and metal investment opportunity in line with growth strategy of the company; techno-economic evaluation of mineral asset (iron ore, coal and manganese ore) for acquisition, strategic alliance or formation of JV and presentation to management.

Headed Pakhar Bauxite Mine (Jharkhand) & Kasarsada Buaixte Mine (Maharashtra) of HINDALCO as 1st Class Mines Manager. Responsible for production & processing of bauxite ore while maintaining quality, safety and productivity standards. The method of mining was opencast with shovel-dumper combination and deep hole drilling & blasting. The processing include crushing and screening of bauxite ore. Developed and commenced production in virgin Pakhar Bauxite Mine at Lohardaga (Jharkhand)

Worked as shift incharge/Asstt Mines Manager in three iron ore mines - Pale, Bimbol & Costi Mine of Chowgule & Co. Ltd, Goa. Pale & Costi was departmentally operated opencast mine with Shovel-Dumber & Ripper-Dozer combination whereas Bimbol Mine was completely Contractor operated opencast mine with deep-hole drilling & blasting technology. All three mines were having sound beneficiation facilities comprising - crusher, screen, spirals, magnetic separator, hydro cyclone, thickener and tailing pond. Responsible for production, quality management and compliance of safety standards.
