SCAN Group is a mission-driven organization that is tackling some of the biggest issues in healthcare for older adults. I led a team focused on building new ventures, investing in emerging companies, exploring M&A/partnerships, and managing our full portfolio of diversified assets that amplify SCAN’s mission of keeping seniors healthy and independent. Since early 2021, SCAN launched three payer-agnostic clinical delivery organizations: Welcome Health (primary care at-home), myPlace Health (PACE), and Healthcare in Action (street medicine for individuals experiencing homelessness). We also acquired/launched Homebase Medical (wrap around services to support risk-bearing primary care providers) and completed investments in several impactful companies.

ANNA provides high-quality, evidence-based services for autistic children and families through excellence in clinical training and supervision, multi-disciplinary assessment and collaborative goal setting, compassionate family-centered practice, and customized programs using fun, naturalistic teaching approaches to support each child’s unique strengths and needs.

I serve on the healthcare advisory board of Primary Ventures, an early stage venture fund based in NYC.

Since 1995, Kauffman Fellows has been a leadership organization in innovation and capital formation, with graduates leading venture capital, government, corporate, university, and startup organizations globally.

Sandbox Industries acts as a bridge between corporations and entrepreneurs. In healthcare, Sandbox manages over $1B in partnership with 30+ Blue Cross Blue Shield entities. I invested in healthcare technology/services companies primarily focused on the Medicare/Medicaid segments, and was grateful to be on the Boards of several impactful companies supporting leadership teams on their journeys, including: - ExactCare: Home-delivery pharmacy that deploys “clinical liaisons” to the home to help poly-chronic and at-risk patients manage complex medication regimens. Acquired in May 2020 by CarepathRx.- Healthify: Population health management solution for healthcare organizations managing populations that lack support around the social determinants of health. Acquired in August 2021 by Wellsky.- Prove: Mobile-focused identity authentication and data management platform.- IdealOption: Clinic based provider of medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorder patients.- Quilted Health: Provides evidence based, community centered care that is designed to meet the needs of pregnant women and families. Quilted Health was a venture we incubated at Sandbox.- InsightIn Health: Member engagement company supporting Medicare Advantage and Managed Medicaid Plans to recruit members, retain members, and close quality gaps.

Helped lead buy-side diligence and investment processes in partnership with in-house corporate development departments at health systems, health plans, and pharmaceutical companies.

Helped advise not-for-profit healthcare organizations (e.g., health systems, payers) on financial and strategic initiatives including buy side M&A, sell side M&A and debt financings.
