Started of as a Collection agent following on payments and overdue balance and then transitioned to a billing agent. Handling 20+ countries with immense knowledge of local regulations and policies.

1. Accounts Receivable and Credit Control• Creating and Maintaining reliable up-to-date supporting documentations required for the approval of credit applications (Credit Form, Statement of Accounts, Bank Statements, Trade License, Passport/Visa of Authorized Signatory, Audit Reports etc). • Timely following up regarding bounced cheques and ensuring payments against them have been made. • Blocking/Unblocking sales order of Credit and Cash customers accordingly. • Following up with clients on overdue invoices, ensuring that we have received the payment schedule for the same. • Supporting clients by generating and creating SOAs and unpaid invoices in a timely manner.. • Resolving credit issues smoothly by liaising between Sales and Accounts department. 2. LC • Reviewing and coordinating documents against Export & Import L/Cs from banks (commercial invoice, packing list, delivery note etc).• Ensuring evaluation of credit data and proper adherence to bank policies and procedures; maintaining accuracy and completeness. 3. Data Creation and Maintenance • Generating customer code and updating Trade Licences accordingly of new customers for the concerned sales person to carry out sales order accordingly. • Creating Employee codes for the new employees of the company. • Monthly creation of up-to-date collection reports as per salesmen for presentation to upper management followed by ensuring all the pending payments have been made. • Monthly creation of documents for all the expired Trade licences as per divisions and ensuring the updates have been made. • Maintaining daily collection reports data. • Maintaining up-to-date records of all the bounced cheques.(Please note that my experience profile is not limited to the above, given the varying market my duties and responsibilities may differ from time to time)
