Documentation and Media Manager at Navakiranam ProjectI am responsible for creating and managing the content for the social media platforms of the Navakiranam project, which is a community-based initiative to relocate non-tribal settlements from inside the forest. The project is one of the prime projects of the Kerala government under the Rebuild Kerala Initiative. It aims to reduce human-wildlife conflict and improve the living conditions of the people who choose to relocate. The project also adds more area to the forest and conserves its ecology and wildlife. Some of the tasks I perform include:- Producing engaging videos, reels, posters, cartoons, and other visual materials to showcase the project's activities, achievements, and impact.- Conducting field visits and interviews with the beneficiaries and stakeholders of the project to collect data and stories for report preparation.- Writing and editing a detailed status report on the Navakiranam project with success stories, which has received national attention and recognition.- Performing videography and photography for the project events and documenting the best practices and learnings.- Providing training and guidance to the facilitators of the project on content creation, research, and survey methods.I enjoy working as a documentation and media manager for the Navakiranam project because it allows me to use my creativity, communication, and analytical skills to support a noble cause. I am always eager to learn new things and improve my professional development.
