• The Materials Controller is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of materials movements and materials storage with the site storage space. Ensuring the labelling and recording of materials is in line with the warehouse materials management procedures. All materials must be stored in the appropriate manner as per vender documentation. The Materials Controller will ensure that packaged and drummed materials are stored and segregated in the proper storage areas and warehouse area and that these areas are routinely monitored to enable efficient operation to the required standard. The Warehouse is one of the key areas included in all audits, the Materials Controller will need to participate in these audits when required. To ensure the goods are offloaded correctly using the correct techniques and the receiving of goods is in line with the relevant Shipping notification and Vendor packing list. The materials are receipted into the warehouse following all the processes and procedures. Inspect the materials in timely manner together with QA/QC once after offloading the shipment at Warehouse and Yards. Verify the quantities of the received materials in line with the Purchase Order, Packing List and Shipping Release Note (SRN). If materials are in good condition as per Packing list and purchase order, then move the materials to right location as per vendor preservation procedure. After the receipt of material prepare alert notification to construction team through daily report and receipt information
