• Surveillance inspection of various mechanical construction activities Inspection of incoming materials and review of certificates.• Witness of welding procedure, welder qualifications and PQR mechanical testing.• Review of the PWHT procedure of the contractors and given approval• Ensuring Quality requirements of running projects in accordance with applicable codes and client specifications.• Resolution of NCRs and other technical issues• Organizing NDT activities and providing necessary technical support while interpretation of NDT results.• Ensuring calibration status of various testing instruments , Organizing in-house calibration and by external agencies.• Liaison with client inspectors and third party inspectors to carry out stage inspections.• Expedition of scheduled completion of projects.• Participate in meeting with Contractors. Report on a weekly basis items requiring resolution by Construction. • Monitors subcontractors and supplier’s workmanship, installation of material and equipment for quality control compliance.

● Carrying out welder qualification tests & welding procedure qualification tests.● Preparation of welding control plan, repair analysis, trouble shooting for weld repairs, weekly and monthly quality reports.● Quality control supervision and NDT inspections like visual, UT, MT & PT.● Radiographic film interpretation.

● Design and Engineering reviews of project proposal and Engineering drawings with reference to Project inspection requirements as per Saudi Aramco procedures and relevant international codes. Revision of Saudi Aramco typical inspection plan and checklists for new projects.● Coordination of inspection activities, With reference to Project inspection requirements, Review and acceptance of the following: Contractor Quality system requirements, Weld test centers, NDT Testing agencies, Construction Procedures, Hydro testing/ Pneumatic test Procedures, Packages and Quality related procedures like NDT Procedures, Welding Procedure Specification, CV’s of the Contractor/ Sub-Contractor QA/QC Inspectors, Welder and Coating /Painting applicators test records.● Witness of Inspection activities, related to material, Welding, Painting/Coating, Hydrostatic testing/Pneumatic testing. Surveillance & regular inspection results, concerns, pro active notifications and violations if any, are recorded in logbook. Follow up of corrective actions and closing of logbook entries.● Radiography Film Interpretation.● Witness of calibration of measuring and testing instruments.● Witness of Hydrostatic testing and Pneumatic testing of plant piping (Above ground and under ground).
