One of the important projects I handled is described below:MOST based automotive Infotainment Head-Unit for premium OEM in EuropeMy Role (As a technical Consultant):1.Software Architect for the Audio sub system.2.Initial board bring up and testing of all Audio paths in the Head unit.3.Developed various drivers which included I2S, MOST OS8104/5 Network transceiver and DMA of the MCU.4.Developed the Car Audio DSP and Amplifier driver.5.Involved in decisions related to MOST Audio routing and control of peripheral devices like CD Changer, Satellite receiver, Phone and external amplifier.6.Developed new specifications for a CAN based protocol between Head-unit and a PC based Equalizer tool. The tool is used for downloading and uploading EQ parameters into Audio DSP at run time. 7.Managed the On-site team of 10 Wipro engineers at Tier-1 facility.8.Responsible for co-ordination of project deliverables and weekly status reports to Tier-19.Helped Tier-1 successfully deliver their first MOST based head unit to an OEM.
Develop firmware for LCD and Video controllers.This job involved development of firmware for a LCD Monitor and TV system-on-chip (SOC) with a built-in 8051 processor. The SOC accepts analog VGA and Video inputs, digitizes them and applies scaling according to the selected display format. It also provides OSD (on screen display) capabilities. My Role in project:• Development of firmware for Front end (3-channel ADC input).• Auto adjust algorithm for analog VGA input.• Driver development for video decoder (PAL and NTSC).
