Manager Network Engineering
CurrentEstablished by Saudi Telecom Company Group, Intigral is an end-to-end solution provider focused on delivering digital media content services to regional telecom operators. Handpicked for the role at the initial stages of establishment of the organization, I was accountable for creating and leading the Network Engineering department. I established network infrastructure for Intigral’s IPTV & OTT operations from the scratch and subsequently proved instrumental in spreading the network infrastructure across GCC countries with 3 fully owned and 3 co-located data centres. I was additionally responsible for providing network architectural consultancy for delivering IPTV & OTT services to new telecom/media clients. To achieve this goal, I institutionalized peering with all major telecom operators as well as internet exchanges across MENA region. As part of the IP Network Infrastructure for IPTV & OTT headend operations project, I designed and built Cisco based network infrastructure from grounds-up, spanning across 2 fully owned data centres. In addition, I conceptualized and formulated multicast routing and QoS policies as an integral part of IPTV and OTT operations.While leading the IP Network infrastructure for Jawwy TV’s content delivery project, I took concrete steps to achieve organisational objectives. Some of my initiatives and key results for this project were:► Designed and built network infrastructure for Intigral’s in-house CDN; engineered BGP routing, QoS and DDoS prevention services as an integral part of OTT/Internet-TV operations. ► Formulated and established WAN circuits in the capacities of 10G and 100G Ethernets; oversaw BGP peering with telecom operators, carriers and internet exchanges in the MENA region.► Established the network infrastructure across GCC countries
