Experienced Head Of Faculty with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Skilled in AutoCAD, Computer-Aided Design, Project Estimation, and Construction. Strong engineering professional with a Ph.D focused in Self Compacting Concrete from Anna University. She has more than 30 years of teaching and industrial experience. She has obtained her B.Tech in Civil Engineering, from Govt. College of Engineering, Trivandrum, Kerala University, M.Tech in Structural Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and PhD from the faculty of Civil Engineering, Anna University, Chennai. She has held various positions in industry as Trainee Engineer in Kerala State PWD and Site Engineer in Kerala State Nirmithi Kendra. She has guided a number of Under Graduate projects & Post Graduate and Ph.D scholars. She has published her research findings in the National and International Journals. She has attended many International and National Conferences, Seminars and Workshops. She has been certified with Elite Grade as topper for two online courses by NPTEL. She has received so many awards and accolades. She has authored many text books in Civil Engineering and has been a reviewer for many text books for various publishers. She is a Recognized Research Supervisor of Anna University. She is a fellow of Institution of Engineers (I) and life member of various professional societies like Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), and Indian Concrete Institute (ICI). She has received research funding from Govt. agencies like DST, AICTE, DAE, BRNS etc., for various R&D activities. She has authored more than 5 text books in the field of Civil Engineering.
