My purpose in this internship was to assess in what ways Bank of Baroda can further expand business ventures in a competitively metropolitan area. Under the said project, a close analysis of market trends, customer preference regarding services, and service quality would help me identify main strategies toward gaining and retaining customers. I also carried out a focused research investigation into the closure of current and savings accounts at one particular branch, analyzing data and customer feedback for reasons underlying such decisions. From the research, practically useful insight was gained to bridge service gaps and plug operational inefficiencies in order to reinforce customer relationships.
