Designed and developed the Assignment Cost Modeling Tool (ACMT) to estimate the total cost of the assignee for onsite project (annually and per hour). Planning Analyst II, Information and Publishing Products – (11/1999-06/2006)Managed the financial monthly close ProcessDeveloped monthly/quarterly financial forecasts Validated entitlement of software migration including helping international order management groups understand the configuration of software to be ordered by them. Supported group’s budget planning process and tracking actual results on a monthly basis including variance analysis. Supported company distributors on paperwork required for customs and transfer of funds through Letter of Credits to NCR Corporation. Managed analysis of software distribution data based on Activity Based Costing so that costs could be allocated correctly to various business units. Supported several special projects related to software distribution.Managed the Business Unit’s Offshore Professional Services project in interim, for few months. The project involved interpreting the requirements of the global professional services group and creating the Request for Interest (RFI) for vendors to partner with Teradata. The RFI was sent to the top IT vendors. Analyzed the bids received and short listed/recommended a panel of vendors for initial presentation to the Leadership team. Based on initial presentation, recommended the top vendor with whom further negotiations could be started. Led the negotiations of the contract that included pricing, IP related issues, infrastructure, training and other requirements so that the partner meets the requirements of the professional services group on a global basis. Financial Systems Consultant (10/1998-11/1999)Managed the project to upgrade to Oracle 10.7 and also be the technical and functional consultant including programming FSG’s and cross-validation rules and testing the system before going live on production system. Managed the training of all accounting and financial associates on Oracle 10.7.Led special projects to improve month–end financial reporting processes.

Managed the implementation of Total Cost Management Project at the financial products manufacturing plant. Completed Process Value Analysis and Reconfiguration of GL for Activity Based Process Costing and implemented in select areas within six months by programming in Lotus.
