Thetno-makai ghar is a techno-food startup based on corn (Makai) founded in 2019 by a young engineer, Bipin Kandel and his co. The vision is to infuse technology into local food we Nepalis love. The first outlet of the green-and-yellow themed Makai Ghar is located at Sangam Chowk, Mid-Baneshwor, Kathmandu. In one conspicuous corner is a recycled bicycle as a table and bright electric lamps hanging from the ceiling. Everything about the restaurant screams of the word ‘fresh’. Besides this, the company expanded to another outlet located in Sankhamool road of New Baneshwor.

Himalaya College of Engineering (HCOE) is affiliated to Tribhuvan University (TU), Nepal. 1. Worked for the more than 4 hydro power projects as hydro mechanical design engineer. 2. Involved as design leader, in all HM components such as, gates, stop-logs, trash rack, bell-mouth, penstock, bends, manhole, bifurcation and trifurcation, expansion joints, reducers, cable cranes, hoisting super structure etc. 3.Have strong ability to perform hydraulic and structural analysis of penstock branching such as Bifurcation and Trifurcation using FEA (ANSYS).Projects:1.
