Recognizing the desperation people with mental illness had, I created and developed mental health programs centered on education and mentoring. Becoming the link between mental illness and recovery in Houston Texas, Bipolar USA established itself as an independent organization seeking to learn and grow based on human experience versus clinical trials. Bipolar USA speaks to community leaders, health care professionals and caregivers on the illness from a personal perspective helping people understand that recovery is expected and longed for in every human being.
